Dr. Gus Dehni received his Specialty in Periodontology and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Harvard University. He also obtained a Masters of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from the Harvard Faculty of Medicine and a Masters of Neurological Sciences from the Montreal Neurological Institute at McGill University.
Over the last decade, Dr. Gus Dehni has published numerous scientific articles in leading medical journals on topics such as facial bone, skeletal and neuronal formation. In 2000, and while at Children's Hospital in Boston, Dr. Gus Dehni and colleagues obtained worldwide pattents on molecules involved in new bone formation and in treating the spread of cancer. He is a clinical instructor in the Division of Periodontology at Harvard and is currently writing a surgical book on Advances in Implant Dentistry and Cosmetic Oral Plastic Surgery. He is a member of The American Academy of Periodontology, The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, The American Academy of Osseointegration, The American Dental Society, The Massachusetts Dental Society, The Southeastern and the Metropolitan District Societies and The International Society for Neuroscience.
